Privacy Policy

AccountMemo ("the Extension") is a Chrome extension that records which Google account you used to sign in to each web service. This policy explains what data we collect and how we handle it.
Data We Collect
- The email address of the Google account you select during OAuth sign-in
- The domain name of the web service you signed into
- The timestamp of the sign-in event
- An optional note you manually enter
How Data Is Stored
All data is stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in chrome.storage.local API. No data is transmitted to any external server, cloud service, or third party.
Data We Do NOT Collect
- Passwords or authentication tokens
- Email content, calendar data, or any other Google account data
- Browsing history beyond what is necessary to detect OAuth sign-in events
- Any personally identifiable information beyond the email address you choose
Permissions Used
- identity / identity.email: Used to suggest your primary Chrome account as a default when adding records manually.
- storage: Used to save and retrieve your sign-in records locally.
- tabs: Used to detect when a Google OAuth flow completes so the extension can automatically record the event.
- Host permissions (https://accounts.google.com/*, https://*/*): Required to inject scripts that detect account selection on Google's sign-in page and to display sign-in notifications on other websites.
Data Sharing
We do not share, sell, or transmit your data to any third party. All data remains on your local device at all times.
Data Deletion
You can delete individual records by clicking the delete button in the extension popup. Uninstalling the extension removes all stored data.
